Kate Newman

Hello! I’m Kate Newman. I am married to my college sweetheart and together we have three beautiful children. We live south of San Angelo on our family ranch, where we raise goats, chickens, and kiddos!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, where I focused primarily on reproductive physiology. I later gave birth to all three of my children at my home with a certified professional midwife and found my births to be overwhelmingly positive, transformative experiences.

I am now a student midwife at Mercy in Action College of Midwifery and a Certified Doula. I am extremely passionate about education in pregnancy and postpartum. My goal is that each of my clients walks away from her birth feeling empowered and supported.
